Moral of the story:
I will gut you if I have to.

001. Intro. Hey, I'm Ramone, 24, they/them. I've been on Tumblr for over 8 years now. I currently write on many other blogs, so you might've seen me around the block! My main goals for this blog is to make friends and have fun. I want to build strong in-character and out of character relationships, as that makes me very happy and tends to create bonds that are incredibly fun to write. Thanks for reading my rules! 002. Godmodding & Plotting. The good ol' no godmodding rule. Of course, you can have your character move Pat around and assume some things, but please don't do anything major to her (killing, major injury, etc.) without discussing it with me first. Speaking of plotting, I'm more than open to it! I also don't mind using a meme as an icebreaker and then plotting going from it. I legitimately am chill and will do whatever is preferred because I want to make things smooth, easy, and fun. 003. Communication. I am a huge stickler for this! Please, please, PLEASE let me know if I upset you or do something wrong. I'm autistic, so I don't always happen to pick up on social cues and also suck at telling tone over text! I would much rather talk something out and fix a problem than lose a friendship. I'm a chill person and would much rather face up to my actions than deal with the heartbreak and emotions that come with the loss of a friend. Please be transparent with me if I'm ever "too much" or if you're not in a good headspace to talk. I'm not going to get mad at you for needing time and space away.
004. Activity. Low activity due to life's circumstances (a full time job, mental health, etc.). I won't write daily due to these things, and there may be times where I'm away for a few weeks to a month or more. My absences may be due to losing muse, fatigue, etc. I'd appreciate it if you'd give me some grace with this, as I tend to feel incredibly guilty for inactivity. I have a no-rush policy for everyone, including myself. Please don't bug me daily (no pun intended) about me replying to a thread. I most likely have it in drafts and am just trying to find the muse and energy for it! 005. Memes & Asks. Send as many as you'd like! I love using these as ice breakers and thread starters. If I answer an ask of yours and you want to turn it into a thread, go ahead! All I ask is that you make your reply into a new post, as it makes trimming and such much easier. Please know that if I don't get to your ask, I am not ignoring you. 006. Formatting. I tend to match my partner's formatting. If you use small text, I will too. I tend to bold/italicize words for emphasis. I don't have icons, but feel free to use yours! I don't really do anything too fancy other than that.
007. Triggers. For me, personally, I'd appreciate anything smutty and suggestive tagged, as well as anything regarding pregnancy. I would also like chainmail (the "send this to 10 people" type) to be tagged as well. I will update you if anything else comes up. I will be sure to tag things as diligently as possible! Triggers that can be found on this blog include: death, violence, blood, possible gore, possible body horror, and my own suggestive/nsfw content. Let me know if I forget something! 008. Shipping. I love every kind of relationship out there (minus toxic romance), so I'm game for just about anything! Pat is a lesbian, so I will not write her romantically with a man. I will also not write her romantically with minors. Like I said above, I probably will write smut if I am comfortable enough. It will be tagged and under a read more. I love pre-established relationships of all kinds, so please don't be scared to come and discuss one with me. 009. Extra Tidbits. I made Pat to be fandomless, but she can be molded to fit into different fandoms. I also don't mind making verses for her. I am very crossover friendly!

NAME Patricia Josephine TurnerNICKNAME/ALIAS Pat, Pat TurnerAGE 25DATE OF BIRTH March 27thGENDER & PRONOUNS Female, she/herORIENTATION LesbianHEIGHT 5’6”HAIR Light brown, cut shortEYES A light blue-greySCARS Many, most notably on her hands. Her biggest one is on her upper left arm from claw marks she received during a fight with a werewolf.DISTINGUISHING FEATURES Mostly casual posture. When around those she doesn’t know, she’s very stiff and on high alert. Masculine in dress. Freckles and an overbite.LIKES Going to the local diner, cheap beer, reading the newspaper (she likes the cartoons the most), wildflowers, 60s-70s rock / folk music / old country music, baseball, fruit, fixing things.DISLIKES Strangers, the price of everything nowadays, being pulled away from her work / being distracted from her work, sugary coffee, modern country music, being alone with her thoughts for too long.
PERSONALITY A firecracker of a woman with an authoritative walk, when someone sees Pat Turner, they know she means business. With each step, she has a purpose, a plan of attack. When her patience is worn thin, you’ll know it. Even so, she still has patience, and rarely complains despite her common expressions. She may look grumpy (with major RBF) on the outside, and she is a bit gruff, but is often described as kind, genuine, and loyal on the inside.Pat's still quite stubborn and likes doing things her way / to her liking and rarely strays from what she’s used to, but she’s flexible and creative in other ways when a solution isn’t cut and dry or a solution isn’t clear. If she feels herself getting frustrated, she usually spends a brief time away from the job to clear her head. She finds that coming back to it later helps her see things in a different light.Pat is rugged and doesn’t need much to live off of. She honestly doesn’t have too much, as she doesn’t have a high-paying or super consistent job. She doesn’t have much technology, and what she does have is outdated. It still works, though; she’s made sure of that. She’s a simple person who finds pleasure in the little things.Pat is very passionate about her goal of hunting monsters, and her rage fuels her to actually go through with it despite her trauma. She’s near impossible to be held back if riled up over a monster and is relentless with her pursuits of them. It’s very hard to redirect her if she has her mind set on something, even if it’s brash or putting herself in danger. She gets caught up on her emotions easily when regarding her trauma.Pat travels around more often nowadays than in the past, able to find some work here and there between her hunting. A girl's gotta eat, and by god will she work for it. She takes on odd jobs, whether big or small, as a way to not only get paid, but also to learn if she can trust someone. People really do reveal their true selves when in distress or desperate need of help.

- Handyman work — Anything from plumbing to patching a roof. If there's manual and a need for it to be fixed, Pat can do it.

WINTERLUDE, WINTERLUDE, OH DARLING.... Pat Turner, if she was being honest, doesn't remember much of her childhood. She gets warm feelings when seeing old pictures or nostalgic items or hearing songs from way back when, but the real memories are fuzzy at best. Perhaps it's due to losing her mother so early in life in such a traumatic way. Labelled as an attack from a wild animal, Pat always had a strange feeling about it being called that. Magnolia would never provoke an animal, knew better than to pick fights with creatures. It was said to be a wolf of some sort among the locals, or maybe some bear. They couldn't stick to one story. Either way, it deeply disturbed Pat. Even so, she had to move on, had to be strong for Winterlude. Her dearest sister, as pretty and dainty as a doll. They'd been close ever since the day their mother told Pat she was having a sibling. And now? Pat took over motherly duties. Cooking, cleaning, dressing, brushing hair...Anything Winter needed; Pat would do. They lived alone together, but with the help of some kind neighbors who kept a watchful eye on them, they were still looked after and taken care of. Their relationship remained loving despite their shared traumatic experience. It was never brought up, not even by a curious Winter. The discomfort surrounding it was palpable, with it practically becoming taboo despite the weight of it on their shoulders, in the back of their minds, waking them up in the form of nightmares. The townsfolk could be friendly, but the sisters were the only real family each other had. Pat only vaguely remembers her father, having spent a few years with him before he vanished.
Years pass, and there's no sign of him. Maybe he died, too. No letters, no calls, no visits. Perhaps Pat and Winter finally came to peace with what they'd seen and heard, sleeping more soundly as time went on. No more screams rang through their ears, no more terrifying shadows, no more deafening silence or hiding in cramped spaces. Pat was now 21, Winter 13. It was a rough age to be, with Pat having been 13 when their mother died. She was superstitious, hoping nothing unlucky or tragic would happen. It had been a decent year, despite Pat's closer watch over Winter, but their luck would soon run out. One evening, a strange man appeared at their doorstep, with a face that gave Pat déjà vu. It looked so familiar, leaving her stunned, but she quickly recovered because despite that familiarity, she'd never seen him in town before. It was late out, and the sun was beginning to set, but Pat refused to let the stranger in. She didn't even want to hear him out but did so only due to appear polite in front of Winter. His strange words of being their father was confusing and angering, leading Pat to usher her sister inside to keep her safe. She confronted the man, demanding to know what he wanted. She didn't believe him. Why come back now after all these years? Why wait? Why no contact? Among her barrage of furious questions came his pleas to let him inside. The moonlight, he mentioned, would do something terrible to him. She didn't understand, didn't want him in the safety of their home. She couldn't lose Winter, but maybe she should've listened.
Just as soon as the first moonbeam appeared, he began to twitch and bend in a horrific way, prompting Pat to run inside, shut the door, and tell Winter to hide no matter what. She grabs her shotgun, her trusty weapon, checks it, and when she opens the door, she's practically face to face with some wolfman, a werewolf, just like in the movies. Trying not to panic, she bashes its head with the butt of her gun, forcing it back away from her. She runs away from the house, hoping it'll chase after her. The bait works, but it's fast. The monster is able to scratch Pat's shoulder, leaving deep, bleeding gouges. Her cries of shock and pain alert Winter, and in her want to protect Pat, grabs a kitchen knife and runs outside. Seeing the struggle, she bravely manages to get closer, but the creature is alerted and turns its back on Pat.Before she can recover, Pat sees it racing after poor little Winter. She searches for her weapon, vision blurry, and when she finds it, she shoots without thinking. She couldn't see clearly, and yet she hits her mark. Pat feels no relief, however, in her kill. Only terror, pain, guilt. There's blood on the grass, in the dirt. Most of it isn't hers anymore. Not when she realizes that Winter is on the ground, unmoving, covered in red. She swallows down bile and a scream before she tries to make her way over, feeling as if she was walking through thick mud. She could barely move, but when she gets to the pair on the ground, she notices that Winter had managed to get the knife lodged into the werewolf's heart. Despite her grief, her rage, she felt like she discovered a new purpose.

main verse.
TONIGHT THERE WILL BE NO QUARRELING, EVERYTHING IS GONNA BE ALRIGHT... Follows the above biography. Pat is a monster hunter who has slowly branched out into travelling to track down leads. Big cities, small towns, anywhere. If she hears something, she's going to investigate. Despite her distrust for strangers, she does her best to swallow it down as she provides services to people in the towns she visits. She may be there for a day, or even a month-- for as long as the job takes, she'll stay. Even if her mission takes years, she's dedicated, being pushed forward by the sacrifice Winter made for her.

dead by daylight.
WINTERLUDE, IT'S MAKING ME LAZY, COME ON, SIT BY THE LOGS IN THE FIRE. Pat Turner was a monster hunter before being taken by The Entity. She doesn't remember the details, but she must've made one wrong step while tracking down a creature, must've gotten completely lost, as the last thing she knows is that she was grabbed and taken from her normalcy. Still known as a firecracker of a woman, Pat puts aside any distrust and tries her best to bond with the other survivors. Maybe, just maybe, there's a spark of hope within them banding together. She's still her usual handy self, with an ability to manage generators, traps, and other items, as well as being able to keep up with--or get away from--the killers. She tries to stay optimistic, though jaded from her own life experience; it's tough not crumbling under the stress.

fantasy.
WINTERLUDE, WINTERLUDE, MY LITTLE APPLE... After a dragon destroyed Pat's village years ago, she's been training to be as strong as she can be. She worked her way up to becoming a knight, seen as a blessing by local villages for her chosen quest of vanquishing beasts and monsters alike. Even if spurred on by vengeance, she still has plenty of chivalry but is just as fierce on the battlefield. With as much rage as she has in her heart, she's equally as lonely and secretly desires companionship.

actress.
YOU'RE THE ONE I ADORE, COME OVER HERE AND GIVE ME MORE. MORE INFO TBA; Pat is a horror movie actress, usually starring in campy, cult classic films. She's gained icon status from her roles, and her face can be seen plastered on posters and t-shirts. She loves meeting her fans and is generally much kinder than her gruff movie persona.

mech pilot.
WINTERLUDE, THIS DUDE THINKS YOU'RE GRAND. Pat is her same mechanic self. The catch? She knows how mechs work, knows how to repair them inside and out, and yet she'd always felt a certain trepidation about going out where the action is. It took a lot of convincing, but she finally agreed to join in the fight. She's skilled, if a little cautious about pushing the limits.
